Brother has collaborated with API Technologies Corp. to provide a more advanced level of security for federal government agencies.

The Netgard^™ MFD, a Common Access Card (CAC) / Personal Identity Verification (PIV) authentication system, is an optional external card reader that is compatible with many Brother printers and MFPs.

Compatible Brother devices include the TAA-compliant MFC-L6900DWG and HL-L6400DWG.

CH-2000 card reader holder available as an optional Brother accessory.
